Am vergangenen Donnerstag gaben die vier Musiker von Bloc Party auf der kleinen Bühne im "Airbase 1" am Flughafen Tempelhof ein exklusives Konzert. Die Band war angereist, um die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums "Intimacy" im kleinen Kreis mit 300 glücklichen Fans und Medienschaffenden zu feiern.

Neues In Flames Album - A Sense Of Purpose

Nach knapp 2 Jahren hat die Band "In Flames" ihr neues Studio-Album mit dem Namen "A Sense of Purpose" rausgebracht. Die neue Scheibe liegt seit 04. April 2008 in den Laeden und zeigt mal wieder, dass die Jungs von In Flames es immernoch drauf haben.

Steve Lukather released his new solo album in February for the European market. You can gather a lot of information about this cool album here. Interesting: Both Steve Lukather as well as Leland Sklar, who plays bass on the album, will take part in the "Rock Legends Adventure 2008", which is organized by Music Networx in May, 2008.

Just a couple of weeks to go and there will be "Rock Legends Adventure 2008" with an amazing line-up for every music fan. Stars like Steve Lukather, John Miles, Ian Paice and even the German artist Uwe Ochsenknecht along with other famous rock legends. The event will take place in Cologne, Germany again. The location is the "E-Werk", where both rehearsals and the final concert will happen.

A new internet platform is born. It's called Concert Online and you can reach it at www.concert-online.com.

Concert Online brings live music to your computer via download - or you can just order a DVD of your favorite concerts.

Also you can find a bunch of information about oncoming concerts and you can put them on your reminder-list.

It's pretty new - and pretty cool. Where else can you get famous live concerts of Deep Purple as well as brandnew stuff like Die Fantastischen Vier?

And you do not have to wait until your DVD is delivered by mail - just start the download and enjoy the concerts the same day.

I guess this will make live music even more interesting - even if you could not make it to the gig by your own.

Rock Legends Adventure 2008

It was a wonderful event. This year Rock Legends Adventure took place for the first time. 20 hobby musicians participated in Cologne where they worked and lived together with All Stars like John Miles, Bobby Kimball, Ollie Marland and others.

In May 2008 they will do it again. It is supposed to become as unforgettable like the first time. So if you are interested, you should have a look at www.rocklegendsadventure.com for further information. Although it is not for free, it's worth every penny.

The Urge shown on TV!

Last night The Urge was shown on German television. Their gig in Bonn, Museumsmeile earlier this year was the highlight of WDR Rockpalast.

The WDR presented the whole concert with impressive pictures. Though it was shown very late (around 2:00 a.m.) it was worth not going to bed! In contrast to the bands presented before The Urge looked very professional on stage. Beautiful light and some amazing close-ups - people could gain an insight to what happened on stage!

Album release: The Urge, Lunch at the Lady Garden

Yeah - the first CD is out now! The Urge, Newcastle's Finest Rock 'n Roll Export released their first album, called "Lunch at the Lady Garden".

The album contains 12 great rock songs, including their first single "Forever and a day". You can get the album at Amazon, The Urge's website or in your local record shop. It will also be available as a downloadable .zip-file at www.theurge-rock.com soon.

So don't hesitate and get your "Lunch at the Lady Garden" - CD asap, it's worth it!
